Topical Estrogen Cream (Estriol Cream)
Unless otherwise instructed by a Health Care Professional: Start by applying about 1/4 teaspoon daily (4pumps). Apply to thin skinned areas like upper inner arms, neck, inner thigh & behind the knees. Rotate application area daily. 4 pumps equals about 1mg Estriol. Use the least amount possible to control symptoms.
2% Natural Progesterone Cream
4 pumps equals about 1/4 teaspoon (1.2 ml) equals about 20mg of micronized progesterone. For best results apply to skin areas that are relatively thin & well supplied with capillary blood flow, such as upper chest, neck, inner arms & inner thighs. Rotate application areas daily. Or as instructed by a health care professional.
Pre-MENOPAUSE: Apply about 4 pumps of crÃme for 14 days beginning on the 12th day after the period starts. Repeat monthly.
Post-MENOPAUSE: Apply about 4 pumps daily for 21 consecutive days in the month. Repeat monthly.
Depending on how low your hormones are, it may take two to three weeks before your symptoms start to subside. You may need to adjust the dosage up or down according to your symptoms. Be patience adjusting your dosage more than once a month may cause symptoms to continue and hormone levels to be unbalanced.
