   On June 6, 2005, we had a DXA test to measure our bone density (our 6th DXA test).  Our previous test was two years prior to that on July 7, 2003.  We had been taking Strontium almost a year and a half prior to our 2005 test.  My spine bone density increased 11.1% and my hip bone density decreased 3.3% and my arm bone density decreased 4.4%.  It appeared that the Strontium went to the area it was needed most which was my spine.  I had serious osteoporosis in my spine.  My hip was osteopenia and my arm was above normal.  Normally, it is expected that we would have lost 2% to 5% in bone density each year (we are both post-menopausal; I am 58 years old and my friend is 60 years old).  My friend’s spine increased 7.9% (went from osteoporosis in 2003 to osteopenia in 2005) and her hip (normal) increased 5.5%.  This was the first year (2005) she had her arm tested and it was osteopenia.

   We waited two years and had our next DXA test on May 18, 2007.  My osteoporosis in my spine changed to osteopenia and the bone density increased 8.1%.  My osteopenia in my hip moved to the borderline stage of normal and the bone density increased 6.5%.  My arm which was above normal in 2005 stayed the same.
My friend’s spine which was osteopenia in 2005 became normal and the bone density increased 15.7%.  Her hip’s bone density (which was normal) increased 6.4%.  Her arm (which was osteopenia in 2005) actually decreased 4.5% (still remaining in the osteopenia category).  I think this is due to the fact that she has a lot of arthritis in her arm and tries not to use it any more than necessary.

  We have made sure to be tested every year on the same machine so we get an accurate comparison.

   I just wanted to share our experience with others because we are ecstatic about the results we have gotten from using Strontium Support.

This wasn't the first time. Hemorrhaging was also a problem as a young girl when first beginning my cycles. I ended up having several D&C's and blood transfusions at 12 years of age. The doctors put me on birth control pills to control my periods, which they did, but also made me very sick. The Pill was very powerful back in those days, and being made of synthetic hormones, they didn't follow the natural pathways in my body that my own hormones would have. I took them anyway.

My mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and my sister all have had the same problems with their cycles. We hemorrhage when we first begin cycling as young girls, then are fine during our childbearing years, then begin hemorrhaging again when we enter perimenopause. They all ended up having hysterectomies, so I made my appointment for a hysterectomy too, the day after leaving Emergency last July. I thought this is just the normal thing to do, and didn't really give it any thought at all.

I joined a group list on Yahoo for women and hysterectomy that day, so that I could learn a little bit about what I'd be facing after my surgery. The day I joined the list, I described my symptoms and was told by one and all that my symptoms describe nothing more than a lack of Progesterone. I found this hard to believe - wouldn't my doctor have told me if it were something that simple? Turns out the answer to that is "no" because so many doctors are clueless about Progesterone. They don't know that levels of Progesterone drop first and fastest when a woman enters perimenopause; they only know about Estrogen because that's what's been the focus of research for so long. Progesterone research has been the "pushed behind the door" step-child of hormone research, although that is finally beginning to change somewhat. Even now though, doctors will ignore Estrogen Dominant symptoms and actually prescribe MORE Estrogen instead, only compounding the problem.

Doctors also advise women after a hysterectomy that they don't need Progesterone because it's only for protecting the uterus (which they no longer have), and instead prescribe Estrogen only. This is the height of ignorance. This creates an unopposed Estrogen Dominant condition in the body which contributes to endometriosis, cancer, and a myriad of symptoms ranging from bad temper, insomnia, hypothyroidism, adrenal insufficiency (our adrenals use Progesterone from which to make Cortisol), to foggy thinking and massive carb cravings. In women with intact organs, Estrogen Dominance also causes Uterine Fibroids and contributes to Metabolic Syndrome, insulin resistance, and ovarian cysts. All preventable and treatable conditions by using Progesterone and getting it back into balance with the Estrogen in the body.

I also learned that every cell in our bodies have Progesterone receptors and that this hormone is used to keep our arteries strong and keep plaque from building up, that our brains use it for making chemicals and the myelin sheaths over our nerves, and that our adrenals use it to produce Cortisol - without this Cortisol our thyroid hormones cannot get into their receptors (Cortisol opens the receptors) and we can become hypothyroid as a result, besides developing adrenal fatigue. Progesterone is truly needed by many areas of the body, not JUST the reproductive system.

Well, after learning all of this and more (and doing my own research - I never just take anyone's word for granted), I cancelled my hysterectomy appointment and thought I would give Progesterone a try. I figured I could always reschedule the hysterectomy if the Progesterone didn't help.

Before starting on the Progesterone cream though, I took a saliva and blood test on the 21st day of my cycle to measure my levels of hormones so as to see where I was deficient or out of balance. Turned out I was making almost no Progesterone whatsoever, while my Estrogen levels were mid-normal range. So I was indeed Estrogen Dominant - that is to say, even though my Estrogen levels were normal, my Progesterone levels were not, leaving Estrogen to be dominant in my body.

I bought several jars of Natural Radiance Progesterone Cream, and waited to see whether it would stop me from hemorrhaging during my cycle the next month. It surely did. It was a COMPLETE success, and I never did reschedule that hysterectomy appointment. The Progesterone also completely got rid of the massive carb cravings I had experienced over the past few years which had caused me to gain weight. Now I am losing the weight and am back on the treadmill. I've also experienced no more insomnia, no more irritability. I've had a complete return to normal cycles, and the ONLY thing I've taken is Progesterone cream - that's what made it happen. Hopefully more and more women will continue to become educated about their bodies as they enter menopause and how key Progesterone is to keeping their body in good health throughout all of their systems. Education is the key!

I wish the doctors would have known that when I was 12, it would have saved me from several blood transfusions and D&C's. I also recommended your Progesterone to a male friend of mine who was suffering from Adrenal Fatigue and a bit of Hypo-thyroidism. He uses very little, but even that amount has been enough to raise his adrenal Cortisol production enough to relieve his Adrenal Fatigue by a long shot, and also get his thryoid hormones back into the normal range. He was shocked, but very glad at the outcome. He was also angry that his doctors did not find it necessary to check him for a Cortisol or Progesterone deficiency, which a saliva test done on his own before starting on the Progesterone showed that he definitely had. Men don't need much Progesterone, but his story shows that the body uses it in more ways than just for our female reproductive organs!

I had a hysterectomy many years ago and have been through many prescription hormones.  Once I did my research I was unhappy that I was continually being prescribed Estradiol (one of the strongest homones, and subsequently more dangerous).  The medical community seems to know almost nothing about Estriol, which is much safer, and may even prevent some cancers.  I decided I was tired of being at the mercy of doctors and wanted to take my hormone health into my own hands.  I went through many different products that sort of helped but it wasn't till I got on the Natual Radiance that my hot flashes stopped and I started to feel better.

Because of the hysterectomy I have had severe, frequent hot flashes and I have to use a higher dosage of both the Estriol and the progesterone.  I use 1/2 tsp twice a day of the Estriol which comes to 4 mgs, and 1/4 tsp twice as day of the progesterone which is 40 mgs (and I use measuring spoons so it is exact, I don't estimate so my results are consistant).  Occasionally if it a stressful day, and I start to feel warm, I might add a little more estriol at miday.  I started lower but found I needed these dosages to feel good and stop the hot flashes, and I no longer worry because I am using safe bioidentical hormones.  A few times a week I put a little on my face and lips and it makes my skin look great.

I started off just buying a couple jars but I now buy the volume 4 at a time for the savings, since I know I am with this product for the long haul.  I am so happy to be able get my hormones on my own and adjust them the way I want without having to argue with physicians even though I can't use insurance.  It is worth it to me.  Thank you for a great product and I hope it will be available for a long time to come.

I had to do the research and numerous trial and error purchases on the web, but finally found you!  Your Estriol (external cream and vaginal oil), Progesterone and Testosterone replacement creams have been the answer.  They are superb - scentless and easily absorbed by the skin.  They literally have been lifesavers.  I couldn't be more pleased.

I do hope that someday you will be able to offer a basic dermal-patch version!

I love the Natural Radiance 2% Progesterone Cream, it has changed my life. I've been suffering from hot flashes and night sweats for the last 10 years. I'm not the only one whose suffered, I've forced my loving husband to live in a highly air conditioned wind tunnel  (2 fans hitting me at once all night long). I could barely stand to have my husband touch me, as the warmth of his hand could trigger a hotflash and cuddling was out of the question. I also control the temperature at my office, and I've been freezing out my fellow employees for years.

The second day I used the Natural Radiance 2% Progesterone Cream, I had no Hot Flashes and no Night Sweats. My husband calls this a miracle cream. We no longer live in a highly air conditioned wind tunnel. I love being able to cuddle up to my husband at night again, just like before the night sweats began. My husband's touch no longer triggers hot flashes.  I asked my fellow employees about making the office temperature warmer, and they were so happy to finally thaw out.

The hot flashes had made me so uncomfortable we changed from vacationing at tropical beaches to visiting glaciers in Alaska. My husband claimed I was partly responsible for global warming. There is something you might like to know about.  I have an 12 year old mixed bread female dog who was spayed when she was about 1 year old.  About 10 months ago she started having problems with urinary incontinence.  My veterinarian assured me that the incontinence was strictly due to a lack of estrogen and  gave me two alternatives: phenylpropanolamine , which I refused to use because it caused two seizures in my other dog, after which she died suddenly.  The other alternative was DES, which I believe is not safe for me to take, why would I want to give it to my dog!  I tried Dong Quai without much success.  I had begun to use your estriol cream myself when it dawned on me, if this cream truly contains natural estrogen, perhaps it would help my dog.  I began using it by applying 1/8 teaspoon of cream to the inside of her ear flap, where the skin is thinner, has lots of circulation and not much hair.  Within a week I noticed that the amount of her incontinence had decreased, and after 3 weeks it stopped completely!! This tells me one thing, this is truly estrogen, because my dog is not subject to the power of suggestion.   I have tried using it less than 7 days a week, each time she starts to dribble.  I have been using it for about 6 months and am very happy with the results.  My veterinarian is happy, but concerned about bone marrow suppression which I personally don't believe will be a problem because it is natural for her to have estrogen if she had her ovaries, but I will have her blood checked just to make sure.

I've always had compliments on my skin - never many wrinkles or sun damage.  But, I noticed after passing fifty that little skin imperfections and scars that used to come and go were suddenly permanent.  That surface roughness and enlarged pores began to accumulate on top of sagging and capillary problems - from what I now know was a gradual loss of estrogen.  And of course there was the neck problem and lip problem!  Nothing I applied or did had any noticeable affect, not dermabrasion, retinol, nothing.  Dryness was not the problem, moisturizing actually made the problem worse in places.  But, in only five weeks, I've seen dramatic results in reversing the skin texture problems and elasticity.  It is not my failing eyesight!  I use a 10X magnifying mirror!  I've been applying the Collagen Creme overall and using the Beta Glucan on specific little scars and wrinkle problems.  It must be acting at the cellular level because it appears that the skin is healing.  The imperfections are smoothing out and dissappearing.  I couldn't be more enthusiastic!
